My wife hated the non adjustable headrests in my Corvette. She said it was her or the car and I sure was gonna miss her until I discovered the giraffe cushion. I slapped it over the seat right out of the box and I haven't heard a complaint since! It saved my marriage, lol. I just wish it came in a lighter color.

Delivery took some time, which is to do with the courier service and the product being shipped from China rather than an actual product issue so hasn't affected the rating I gave - buyers just need to be aware that it could be slow. We ordered this because I found the BYD Dolphin front seats very uncomfortable. The photos uploaded show how big the gap between my back and the seat is, as well as how it looks with the Giraffe cushion in place. The cushion is exactly the right width for the Dolphin seats, is easy to install and remove, and soft enough to conform to the shape of the seats when I lean against it, without creating pressure points. It solves the problem I had completely.

To put it simply, this cushion feels like it should have been there all along. 100% recommend buying one if you also have an uncomfortable head rest. But as well as solving that problem it has made my car seat much more comfortable.

There was a small rip in the seam (seam separated) but it was easy enough fix. The cushion definitely solves the problem of the headrest being right up against the back of my head, but I find the cushion to be too straight. There’s no lumbar support. I also think it would be more comfortable to have some type of thoracic spine support (like buttresses on either side to allow less pressure on spinous processes). I will keep it, but I’m going to see if I can make some alterations/adjustments to it. It’s good, but I think it could be better.
Fixed my uncomfortable seat
It really helped to straighten the curve in my car's seat back. I have a cushion from elsewhere to fill the seat space some. And I use an inflatable ball to add additional support for the lumbar area.
I bought a new car two months ago and the headrest hurts my neck so much that I dread driving. The Giraffe Cushion feels wonderful and gives me hope that I’ll be able to keep the car.
I needed the added inserts to make this better for me. Basically the two inserts at the bottom and the smaller of the original foams. However, it was still too hard, so I bought a memory foam seat cover to go over it all and that worked. Reccomended as it does fix my head issues BUT you need to spend some more money for comfort.
I can now actually drive my new RAV4. Amazing product!

My wife has tried every solution possible to fix a headrest save bending them, which doesn't seem like a good idea. This has been the ONLY pillow to finally make it so she can sit comfotably with these new style headrests. We definitely needed the insert pad but with that added she's now able to use the car comfortably. Hooray!
Finally, relief! Tesla seats are torture on long trips. Not only is my head pushed into an uncomfortable position, but leaning on the headrest also gives me shocks because the stiff seat passes them on from the street. I've had this car for nearly 10 years and have come to dread long drives because I end up in so much pain. I've tried all kinds of adjustments and neck pillows but haven't been able to solve the problem, until now. I think this is it! The solution I've been seeking! I've only used this cushion for short drives so far, but it's so nice not to have to fight the headrest. I will say that the whole back feels flat - it covers the lumber support. I think that will work for me though. I'm excited for what will hopefully be a comfortable and enjoyable trip, for once.
The giraffe has transformed our uncomfortable driver's seat on our 2014 Nissan NV3500 into the most comfortable seat in the car! We had tried 5 or 6 different back pillows before finally finding the Giraffe. It was perfect! You don't even notice it's there. Now my wife refuses to ride in the front passenger seat, so I'm getting one for that seat as well so that I'll be able to drive again!

The Giraffe Cushion is nice because it moves my head forward a couple inches, and I can really tell the difference when I’m driving. Much better for my neck! I still rest my head against the head support when I drive, so in the event of a collision, there should be no whiplash. It was an easy install, and it does exactly what I needed to do.
A little bit expensive for a cushion. A little sweaty at the bottom (Could do with air holes in the foam) Material is a bit rough and irritates lower back in the West Australian climate. Will try a seat cover. I purchased the extra foams but only used the very thinnest options. However; much better option than the alternative of bending my head rest. Recommended no more head banging!
Perfect! It’s solved my headrest problem instantly! I’ve had it now for six months. I didn’t want to review it until now, to see if it really made a difference. I highly recommend this!
This works relatively well in my 2021 Camry. I wish it was possible to adjust the amount of stuffing in the pillow (it's actually a bit too thick, which is preferable to the alternative). Ultimately happy with it.

I was on the verge of changing our car due to the headrest being ridiculously uncomfortable with no means to adjust. It made me hate the car and driving, due to my head being pushed forwards into a really uncomfortable position. Then I found the Giraffe cushion. It does exactly what it says on the tin. I can now sit straight up with my head in a natural position as you can see in the difference between the two photos. So pleased with it! You can also easily swivel it round to the back of the seat if there are other drivers who prefer not to use it. Would highly recommend 👍
I was really looking forward to this. It's helped some of my problems. It's stopped my back from curling into a c shape due to the shape of my car seats. Also it's help reduce the neck issue due to my over extended car head rest. However it's not long enough to support my lower back so I'm in more agony lower down now as opposed to all over. I'm debating returning it and trying something else instead. I had high expectations, gutted it's not the answer for my car seat issues. I wish it comes in a longer length. I do think it's useful and would reccomend trying it as what doesn't work for one could work for the other.
We bought a new 2024 Kia Sportage PHEV, and I love everything about it...except that I could not get the seat into a comfortable position. The headrest sticks forward and the up and down adjustment option obviously doesn't help with that. After a couple months of struggling every time I drove the car, I did a forum dive and someone mentioned the Giraffe Cushion. It completely fixed the problem and feels like the seat itself, but better. Will be buying another one so I don't have to swap it between driver and passenger seats.

Love it, now the BYD Atto 3 headrest doesn't kill my neck. Hope the elastic strap can last a long time, or a replacement strap can be available for sale on the website.
This worked great in my Toyota Sienna. I just got this car and it was hurting my back. This helps tremendously to give support to the back and allows my neck to feel more relaxed. I now don’t have to take down my hair out a bun each time I get in the car. My husband has also asked me to buy another for him!

We have had our Giraffe cushion for a week or so now. It does make the seat much more comfortable because the head rest is not pushing your neck forward. Next week we are going on a 2 day 11 hr highway trip. I am excited to see how my neck feels after several hours in the vehicle. I expect it will be much better.
We just got a Sprinter van, and I was very excited until I tried driving it. I'm 5'1", and the headrest pushed my head forward into a very uncomfortable position. The Giraffe cushion fixed the problem, and I can now comfortably drive the van.

The cushion does a great job at building your seat up so that an annoying headrest is more where it should be. The only downside is that the thickness and softness should be adjustable to get the perfect fit and feel.
At last a solution to my head being pushed uncomfortably forward by the head restraint! I've tried neck supports and pillows behind the back. Now its solved. Thank you Giraffe Cushion. It even makes the seat more comfortable when I want to take a short nap.
I’m not tall and like to sit up straight when I drive. The “modern” headrests in my new used Bolt EUV are NOT made for me. I found this giraffe cushion and tried it out of desperation. It works beautifully! The car is much more comfortable for me now. You don’t even notice the cushion is there. It just works.
Works very well to improve my atto 3 seat, which is now perfectly comfortable for me. My husband, who is much taller, never had a problem with the seat as it was, but he too finds the giraffe comfortable and doesn't take it off when he drives. I do wish it came in a slightly classier cover or had different cover options.
The giraffe is exactly what I was looking for. I no longer hate my drivers seat. I am 5’2” and hated my head rest as it would cause my head to be unnaturally pitched forward. The back cushion works perfect, now seated in a natural position, definitely comfortable. I did double up the mounting strap to raise where the giraffe lies. Absolutely recommend!
